Jonathan Miles, Head Coach
USATF Certified Level 1 Coach

Hello! My name is Jonathan Miles and I started the camp with the hope of inspiring a love of running to the next generation. As a native to Gig Harbor, I started my running career at Kopachuck Middle School the first year cross country was offered. I quickly became a stand out and was a three time district champion. While attending Gig Harbor High School, I was an accomplished cross country and mid distance runner, ending each season competing at the state level. I was recruited to run at the University of Michigan at the D1 level, and continue to apply all that running has taught me to push myself to become a well rounded athlete. More importantly, running has given me a community. Teammates have become life long friends, and the team cultures I have experienced have turned strangers into family. My goal with this camp is to introduce participants to running and show that it can be an extremely fun and rewarding experience.
